I was looking at Mazda Miata's and other 2 seat convertibles, but was not sold on them because of their limited space and low seating. I found out about the Buick Cascada, which is a 4 seater, is more practical for me. The dealer, had one with the best price around, and was easy to work with. I am quite pleased with all of the aspects of the purchase, and the usefulness of the various online resources was a great help in achieving it.
    • The bottom line...it is really fun to drive!!

Bought a used 2018 sky blue Cascada with black top in April 2025. I have had the car-in-front-of-you safety feature go off a couple times when I did not think it should, but it does not slow the car down, just flashes on the dash and makes a noise, so that really is not a problem. The side view mirrors could be better, the car definitely has a blind spot, but you just need to look, it is not that much trouble. Other reviewers have mentioned it, there are a lot of buttons on the dash, but once you learn them, you do not have to fool with the LCD touch screen anymore (which distracts from watching the road when trying to use it while driving). The car looks great, it turns heads. The trunk is a little small, but that is OK, it is a convertible. Easily rides 4 adult people, with top up or down. A great feature is the driver seat can be raised and lowered, the seat features are a great part of the car and easy to use, I am very happy with them. And yes, it has heated seats if you want to turn that on, I will never buy another car without heated seats, my back likes it a lot. It has dual environment/temperature controls, the driver can control their side, the passenger can control theirs. Opening and closing the top takes one push of a button, process completes in about 15 seconds, the car beeps when the process is completed. There is a button that rolls up all the windows at the same time once the top is back up, very handy. But the best part, my wife loves it! That is all that matters, she loves jetting around in it, looking good. It is easily worth what I paid for it just for that. We live in South Florida, it really is a fun car to drive, especially on the highway with the top down. I have not had to take it in for any maintenance yet, so we will see how that goes. Another reason I bought it was because it is a GM product, parts should be fairly standard and easy to get.

When I decided I wanted a convertible my husband wanted me to get a Camaro or Corvette. We live in a small town that does not have a Volvo, Mercedes, or BMW dealership. One of my main criteria was it had to be something I could have serviced locally. I test drove a Camaro. A corvette was not a consideration. I have personally never cared for them. I test drove a fiat. Then we went and drove the Cascada and my decision was made. I love it as much today as I did the day I drove it off of the lot. I wanted a car that drove and rode good with the top up or with the top down, and that is exactly what I got. LOVE, LOVE, MY CASCADA!
